Damgan and its beaches

The seaside resort of Damgan welcomes you in a simple and authentic setting for an invigorating and pleasant stay in Southern Brittany. Discover this little-known area of Morbihan full of charm and surprises, starting with its fine sandy beaches. The Grande Plage de Damgam is aptly named as it offers a vast area for swimming, water sports and fishing. But perhaps you prefer to succumb to the pleasures of sunbathing and siesta in the sun, lulled by the melody of the waves? Don't worry, that's what camping holidays in Morbihan are all about! In the vicinity, you will find beautiful coves if you want a little more privacy. As for the Grande Plage de Kervoyal, it is ideal for swimming at high tide as well as for fishing at low tide for moments of digging under the sand with family or friends. The Petite Plage de Kervoyal is also very pleasant and there are some nice walks along the coast.

The village of Damgan

Damgan is also a charming village with many shops and craftsmen. Stroll around Damgan and discover the historical monuments of the town at your own pace. Stop off at one of the many restaurants in the seaside resort and enjoy a refreshing drink on the terrace overlooking the sea. It's the perfect setting for a seafood tasting in the warm sunshine. You can also visit the Damgan market, one of the most famous in the area, and sample the delicious local produce.

The Peninsula of Pénerf

Discover the surrounding area on the coastal paths from Billiers to Pénerf. A picturesque seaside village, Pénerf is part of the Gulf of Morbihan Regional Nature Park. This one shelters a sympathetic port with its fishermen's boats. Famous for its oysters, you will easily be tempted by a tasting and you can even buy some directly from the producers. The village of Pénerf is a relaxing destination, appreciated by hikers and walkers. During your walk, on the tip of the Lenn, you will be able to observe a lighthouse built in the 16th century: the Tour des Anglais and its 15 metres high! Finally, Damgan organises the Fête de la Mer every first weekend in August. On the programme: boat parades, entertainment for young and old, popular dance, concerts and sea songs. A firework display is even fired for the occasion. A great way to enjoy a camping holiday in Southern Brittany!
